EBNASA Receives Google Grant

Free advertising on Google.com each month

East Boston, MA - East Boston Neighborhood Against Substance Abuse (EBNASA) has been given a Google Grants award for free Google AdWords advertising. Additionally, Google has also arranged for Emerson College students to partner with EBNASA to start and manage these ads.

The Google Grants program supports organizations sharing Google's philosophy of community service to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy, and the arts.

EBNASA's ads will be displayed alongside related search results on Google.com, and when people click on the ad, they will be taken to EBNASA's homepage: www.ebnasa.org.

This will better enable EBNASA to spread its message of substance abuse prevention and inform, engage, and connect with East Boston residents.

"We are very excited," said EBNASA’s coordinator and East Boston resident, Andrew Kenneally. "Everyone knows the power of the internet today and the power of Google, one of the premier search engines. The ability for East Boston residents to find us and access our web site will most definitely be heightened with this grant."

For more information on EBNASA, visit: www.ebnasa.org.
