June 16: Tour East Boston's Murals
and Public Art
(BOSTON, MA) –Join BNAN for a fun and informative
tour of the Jeffries Point neighborhood in East Boston. Starting
from the Piers Park entrance on Marginal Street, we will walk
through the Jeffries Point neighborhood and discover the colorful
youth-painted murals along the East Boston Greenway and enjoy the
public art installations created by professional artists in local
parklands.
To join the fun meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16th, at the
entrance to Piers Park on Marginal Street, East Boston. Bring your
walking shoes and be ready to take in wonderful views of Boston
Harbor. Rain will cancel. The walk is expected to last from 1.5 to
2.0 hours
