Important Notice: Temporary
Parking Restrictions for Street Sweeping on Wed.., March 16
The City of Boston will conduct mechanical street sweeping on many
of the Eagle Hill streets on Wednesday, March 16. This is an effort
to remove much of the debris that have accumulated under vehicles
during the Winter months as we await the onset of our regular posted
street sweeping program which begins April 1.
The success of this program depends on the cooperation of the
Eagle Hill residents and merchants who will need to move their
vehicles for a brief period of time. This will allow the mechanical
sweeper access to the parking and gutter areas of the roadway.
This mechanical cleaning effort with temporary parking
restrictions is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 16,
between the hours of 9:00AM 1:00PM. The odd-numbered sides of the
streets will be swept between 9:00AM --11:00AM and the even-numbered
sides between 11:00AM1:00PM.
Temporary signage for parking restrictions will be posted at
least 48 hours in advance on your street.
The operation is clearly dependant on weather conditions. The
posting of temporary signage will confirm our schedule.
The scheduled streets for Wednesday, March 16 are:
Paris Street, from Bennington to Visconti Way
Havre Street, from Bennington to Visconti Way
Trenton Street, from Meridian to Eagle Square
Princeton Street, from Meridian to Eagle Square
Saratoga Street, from Shelby to Meridian Street
Condor Street, from Border to East Eagle
Lexington Street, from Border to east Eagle
Please note that these and additional Eagle Hill streets
will also be swept before and after these dates.
You can assist by moving your vehicle and sweeping your sidewalk
prior to street sweeping. Your cooperation in helping the city to
clean your neighborhood streets is greatly appreciated.
This is a collaborative effort of the Mayors Office of Neighborhood
Services, Public Works Department, Boston Transportation Department,
and City Councilor Sal LaMattina.
