JPNA to hold
meet and greet for Boston mayoral candidates
(EAST BOSTON August 5,
2013) Boston mayoral candidates will take part in a Meet & Greet at
the East Boston Marina on Marginal Street in East Boston on Monday,
August 12. Sponsored by the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association,
the event is open to everyone.
The event is scheduled to start with an informal meet-and-greet at
7:00 p.m. followed by a moderated forum 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
There will be additional time to speak with candidates following the
moderated session. Seating will be available on a
first-come-first-serve basis and free parking is available at the
marina. The forum’s focus will provide an opportunity for both the
residents and business community to meet the various candidates and
ask them questions specific to the needs and concerns of East
Boston.
