Really Reptiles at the East Boston Branch Library
Wildlife educator Michelle DeBye and her menagerie of reptiles visits the East
Boston Branch Library on Saturday, April 16th at 1p.m Learn how different
reptiles can be from one another and yet still be classified as reptiles. For

Check out these fun, drop in activities for kids at the East Boston Branch
Tuesday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m.: Come celebrate spring by making your own flowers
out of tissue paper. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Wednesday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m.: Use wacky-patterned duct tape to make a
bookmark to take home. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
Thursday, April 21 at 3:30 p.m.: Get creative outside with sidewalk chalk and
D.I.Y. bubble wands. Weather permitting. All ages.
Friday, April April 22 at 3:00 p.m.: Lego Club. Ages 4 and up.
Local Author Visits East Boston Branch Library
Join us on Saturday, April 23rd at 11 a.m. when local children’s
author, James DeMarco visits the East Boston Branch Library. James DeMarco will
read from his book, The Goaltenders’ Creed which features Small Saves, a young
goalkeeper having an off night on the ice. After the reading , Mr. DeMarco will
lead a workshop on illustration. This program is for children 7 up. This program
is sponsored by the Friends of the East Boston Branch Library
Personal Financing and Budgeting Workshop at the East Boston Branch
Library, April 23rd at 3 p.m.
New Goals and Dreams? Plan, Save and Achieve! This workshop will help
you to plan and accomplish your financial goals and dreams by assessing your
financial situation, developing a realistic financial budget and identifying
