November Programs
at the EB Branch of the Public Library: Music of the Civil War Era
Jeff Davis and the Music of the Civil War will be featured at the
East Boston Branch Library on Monday, Nov. 14th at 6:30. Music was
everywhere during the Civil War. Jeff Davis will sing and play the
music of the era, including slave songs, parlor music, hymns and a
variety of other tunes. He will be accompanied on banjo, fiddle,
guitar, and several other lesser known instruments. For more
