Hours Return at Neighborhood Branches on September 10

BOSTON — August 25, 2011 – Saturday hours at the neighborhood
branches of the Boston Public Library will return on Saturday,
September 10.
Saturday hours at Boston Public Library branches vary per location,
but are typically 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., or
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Washington Village branch (at 1226
Columbia Road in South Boston) does not have Saturday hours.
As previously announced, Sunday hours at the Central Library in
Copley Square return on October 2. The Central Library will be open
1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sundays, October through May, with the following
exceptions for Sundays preceding Monday holidays:
October 9 (Columbus Day)
December 25 (Christmas Day)
January 1 (New Year’s Day)
January 15 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)
February 19 (President’s Day)
April 8 (Easter)
April 16 (Patriots’ Day)
May 27 (Memorial Day)
