Thank you to all the volunteers who
made East Boston Shines a success
East Boston, MA (May 13,
2014) – On behalf of East Boston Main Streets, thank you to all the
volunteers who made East Boston Shines a success on Saturday, May
10th. Braving early morning drizzles, dozens of volunteers met up at
9:00am at Maverick Square to kick of the 12th annual East Boston
Shines Community Clean-up Campaign.
A special thank you to our local volunteers, to the staff of the
Suffolk County DA’s office, to the members of the Massachusetts
Association of Hispanic Attorneys, to the Latinas Shine Group, as
well as to Sal Lamattina’s office, the Mayor’s staff, and to Public
Works.
Let’s keep East Boston’s streets and sidewalks clean, the tree pits
mulched, and the flowers watered!
For more details or questions please call Max Gruner, Executive
Director of East Boston Main Streets at 617-561-1044.
