Demolition Delay Hearing: Boston
Landmarks Commission Meeting
The owners of the 1893 The Atlantic Works Boiler Shop at 40 New
Street have applied for a demolition permit. This is the building
with the large arch at the end of Maverick Street.
The Demolition Delay Hearing will determine if a 90-day period
should be given during which time alternatives to demolition will be
considered.
The Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 , City Hall,
Piemonte Room on the 5th Floor, 5:45 PM.
After 5:30 PM it is necessary to enter and
exit City Hall at the Congress Street door.
