On Suffolk Downs Casino Proposal,
the City of Boston wants your input. Meeting slated for Tuesday,
August 7 at EBHS.
Dear East Boston Residents and Businesses:
The City of Boston wants your input. Suffolk Downs intends to apply
to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission for a gaming license. Over
the past few weeks, Suffolk Downs has outlined its proposal to the
community of East Boston, the City of Boston and the Host Community
Advisory Committee.
The City wants to ensure that the interests of residents and
businesses in East Boston are secure in the process of negotiating a
community mitigation agreement with Suffolk Downs.
To do that, the Committee and the City need to hear from you.
