Dear Friend,
The Advisory Board and the officers of The Salvation Army in Chelsea
would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a special
event. On September 11, 2010 The Salvation Army will be holding an
awareness event from 10am to 2pm in the parking lot of the Market
Basket in Chelsea.
The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to the people in our
community of the services, programs, and opportunities available at
The Salvation Army in Chelsea.
There will be a display of The Salvation Army’s newest emergency
disaster vehicle and a Cataldo Ambulance. The Salvation Army Brass
Band will provide some music. Our Advisory Board and Staff will be
there to pass our literature and answer questions. There will be
giveaways for the children. Community partners who will be
participating and lending support include Distrigas, Kool Smiles,
Chelsea Police and Fire, Mark’s Discount, and Market Basket.
The Salvation Army has had a location in Chelsea for over 120 years.
We are hoping that you will have the time to come to the event. Your
presence will be a blessing and will add to the community spirit.
The Salvation Army would not be able to help those in need in our
community without the support of good-hearted people who have given
generously of their time and treasure over the years.
Real lives are being changed. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely,
Captain Daniel Brunelle
Corps Officer
Marlene Jennings
Advisory Board Chairperson
