Italia Unita announces Beginner
Italian Language Course
BEGINNER ITALIAN- 90-minute course per week for 10 weeks. Course
starts Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 6:30pm.
Course Objective: At the end of the course, you will be able to
understand essential instructions and to exchange information in a
simple way. In writing you will be able to fill in simple forms and
take notes on basic data.
Course Description: In this class you will develop basic language
skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while learning
rules of grammar and pronunciation. Organized around theme-based
units and authentic materials, the course will emphasize
communicative abilities and vocabulary building through real-life
simulations and interactive activities. This class will also
introduce you to aspects of Italian life and culture.
The cost is $180 members and $200 for non-members. Classes are
offered for adults 18 years or older. Open to beginners.
