Attention East Boston Republicans
The Massachusetts Republican Party holds its convention once every
four years. The next convention is scheduled for Saturday, March 22,
2014 at the Agganis Arena in Boston.
The election of East Boston delegates and alternate delegates to the
convention is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
If bad weather prevents meeting at that time then the election will
be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014. The election will be
at the East Boston YMCA at 215 Bremen Street in East Boston.
The East Boston Republican Ward Committee invites East Boston
residents interested and registered as Republican as of this past
December 1 to come to this meeting and seek
nomination as convention delegates or alternates.
Only current ward committee members may vote on the slate of East
Boston delegates and alternates to the convention. The numbers of
local delegate and alternate delegate seats are very limited.
