DiCara, former Boston city councilor, discusses his book at East Boston Library
on June 9 @ 6 p.m.
Rosario Cascio, the President of the
Pirandello Lyceum, has asked the noted Italian-American attorney and
author Larry DiCara, to review his book “Turmoil and Transition in
Boston” at a special gathering on June 9, 2014 at the East Boston
Branch Library.
Attorney DiCara, the former president of the Boston City
Council and is now one of the most influential attorneys in the
Boston area.
Larry Harmon, the noted Boston Globe columnist, last year wrote that
"...Larry DiCara has few rivals when it comes to knowledge of the
city’s political history from the ground up."
Such a presentation is true to the mission of the Pirandello, which
is to maintain an appreciation of our Italian heritage while
recognizing the contributions of Italians and Italian Americans to
the United States of America and to the world.
