Concerned Parent: Swings at Constitution Beach and
Community Center Parks have worn out bolts
The following letter was sent to eastboston.com
All of the bolts that hold the tops of the swing chains are worn down to
about 3/16 of an inch. One of the swings at the Community Center park is
currently broken.
As a concerned parent, I feel that these are maintenance issued that should
never be overlooked. This safety issue is appalling to me considering that
the park at Constitution Beach was closed for 6 months last year and these
bolts were not addressed before reopening.
I would like to know when this will be resolved so that I can continue to
bring my child to our parks.
