A Project Notification Form (PNF) has been filed with the Planning Department for the 160 McClellan Highway project, located at 160 William F. McClellan Highway in East Boston. The Project Notification Form (PNF) was submitted by Horizon/McClellan LLC & CV 580 Chelsea LLC (the “Proponent”) on Thursday, July 09, 2026.
This filing is part of the Article 80B Large Project Review process for the proposed project, which includes an opportunity for you to learn about the project and submit written comments. Notice of any upcoming public meetings will be posted on the project website and sent out as soon as possible.
The comment period is open until Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The following description has been provided by the development team:
The project will include the demolition of an existing one-story warehouse structure and the construction of a new two-story building comprising approximately 152,500 square feet of gross floor area, with anticipated uses that include warehousing, receiving and distribution, and accessory office uses, as well as off-street surface parking for approximately ten vehicles and loading dock areas which shall include 24 loading docks, including eight dedicated truck chargers to support fully electric building to airport truck transfers.
