The Eastie Elves’ toy drive will host collection boxes throughout East Boston (list below) from Thursday, November 30th to Wednesday, December 13th. All 28 drop off locations have been announced this week- we hope you can take time this holiday season to stop by a collection box and donate new, unwrapped children’s toys!
Eastie’s Elves is an annual toy drive that culminates in a holiday gala for the community. Since this tradition began in 2004 by former State Senator Anthony Petrucelli, we have had more than 500 attendees participate each year, which has resulted in over 10,000 holiday gifts being donated to families in need. In partnership with local community organizations, these gifts are then distributed to children of all ages throughout the neighborhoods of East Boston, Winthrop, and Revere. To conclude the large-scale toy drive, we invite our community members to gather at the Hyatt for an evening of entertainment, food, dancing, and holiday festivities. We are honored to continue Eastie’s Elves to brighten the holiday season for families in need.
