Another successful event! Hundreds turn out for a beautiful day at Piers Park on the waterfront to celebrate the East Boston community. Entertainment and showcases by civic groups mark the day at the 36th annual event.

This large-scale community event fosters connection and encourages East Boston residents to engage with local small businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations.

The celebration is family-friendly and open to all, featuring food and refreshments, live entertainment, children’s games, music, and a variety of contests.

“We are grateful to continue the tradition of Eastie Pride Day and look forward to creating a space where all members of our community can connect and celebrate East Boston together,” says Liana LaMattina, Chair of the Committee.

The event stands as the 36th annual Eastie Pride Day. Originating in 1989 by former Boston city councilor Sal LaMattina to increase community pride in East Boston, the celebration remains a highlight for community members of all ages each year.

Eastie Pride Day is a neighborhood committee serving the East Boston community through an annual summer celebration. The event highlights the values and qualities of the neighborhood while fostering unity and pride for residents.
