What we saw at this year’s Columbus Block Party
The gray October skies over East Boston couldn’t dampen the spirit and good cheer at the Columbus Day weekend event. There was lots of fun passed around including a raffle, a disc jockey and the huge bouncy house for the kids. And, of course, entertainment from the Jessica Gordon Academy of Performing Arts and its very talented student dancers.
Special thanks again goes to Stevie Carlo Scire of Sammy Carlo’s. He’s always there for the community. Special thanks also to Barbara Gambale-Puopolo and Dottie Marcella and many others and sponsors who made today’s block party a reminder of what makes East Boston special.
