The Boston Havoc have won the 2026 Boston Baseball Association (BBA) 28+ Division Championship, completing an impressive championship three-peat.
The Havoc faced the North Boston Devil Rays in an exciting best-of-three semifinal series that went the distance. With Game 3 tied 4–4 in the final inning, two outs on the board, and a runner on first, Omar Ortiz delivered the decisive hit—a double over the right fielder’s head. The walk-off victory sent the Havoc to their third consecutive BBA championship series.
For the second straight year, the Boston Havoc faced the Lowell Angels in the best of 5 championship series. The Havoc dominated the series, sweeping the Lowell Angels 3–0 to secure another title.
Ortiz was named 2026 BBA Finals MVP after batting .636 in the finals and leading the team in hits and RBI.

The Boston Baseball Association (BBA) is an exciting adult baseball league featuring four divisions to match any desired level of competition:
BBA 18+
Collegiate play for current and former college and professional players. Enjoy a regular season of 20 games on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The season kicks off in the first week of May, culminating in playoffs in August. Champions receive rings and a team trophy!
BBA 28+
Competitive play for those 28 and older. This division also has a 20-game regular season, with games on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The season begins in mid-April, with playoffs in September. Champions will be awarded rings and a team trophy!
BBA Sandlot
Recreational play for those looking to ease back into the game or enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. This division features a 14-game schedule with doubleheaders on Saturday afternoons/evenings. The season starts in mid-May, with playoffs in August. Champions receive rings and a team trophy!
