On Sunday, January 28th, Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Parish – St. John’s Church in Winthrop at 10:00 a.m. to kick-off Catholic Schools Week. East Boston Central Catholic’s choir will sing and all families are encouraged to join.
The school has planned activities all week long for families. We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary this year, culminating with our Annual Gala on April 12th at Spinelli’s in Lynnfield.
Here’s a quick snapshot of about EBCCSWe grew our enrollment from last year to this year over 23% thanks to the efforts of everyone on staff:
- We had a 95% retention rate
- Outreach to various parishes by our Chaplain, Fr. Dan Zinger
- We hired an Assistant Principal, Gabriela Twaalfhoven who worked directly with new families on enrollment all last summer.
- AND The Catholic Schools Foundation provided financial support to families in need through their Building Minds Scholarship Fund.
