Elijah Garcia delivered an impressive performance at his latest tournament, competing with determination, skill and sportsmanship against some of the best young boxers in the country.
In the opening round, Elijah earned a hard-fought victory over the No. 6-ranked boxer in the nation. The win provided a strong start to the tournament and demonstrated his ability to compete at the highest level.

In the second round, Elijah faced the No. 3-ranked boxer in the country in an extremely competitive bout. After a closely contested match, Elijah fell just short in a split decision.
Although the tournament did not end with the result he had hoped for, Elijah gained valuable experience against elite national competition. His performances have helped establish him as one of the top boxers in his weight class while continuing his development both as an athlete and a young man.
Elijah has already returned to the gym and is training for two major national tournaments later this year.

The USA Boxing National Open will take place in Cleveland, Ohio, from September 26 through October 3. He will then prepare for the USA Boxing National Championships in Lafayette, Louisiana, scheduled for December 5–13.
Each tournament will provide another opportunity for Elijah to test himself against the nation’s best young boxers and continue working toward his goals in the sport.
