East Boston Non-Profit Organization to Host Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner and Eastie’s Elves Events to Aid Families in Need

The Madaro Family Community Fund will continue its tradition of Thanksgiving Day Dinner and Eastie’s Elves events to offer meals and gifts to community members this holiday season

BOSTON, MA (November 4, 2026) – The Madaro Family Community Fund (MFCF) announces the details of its two annual holiday events aimed at supporting families in East Boston, Winthrop, and Revere. The organization will be supplying meals at their Thanksgiving Day Dinner and gifts at their Eastie’s Elves events to help spread holiday cheer and give back to those in need within the community, as they have for many years.

The Thanksgiving Day Dinner will continue to offer nearly 1,000 hand-packaged meals for those in need to pick up at the Salesian Boys & Girls Club on Thursday, November 26th. Last year 3,000 toys were collected for the 22nd annual Eastie’s Elves, and this year the nonprofit will continue the community-wide toy drive in honor of the 23rd annual Eastie’s Elves.

The toy drive will run from Friday, November 20th to Thursday, December 10th with collection boxes placed throughout East Boston, Revere, and Winthrop. The toy drive will culminate in an Eastie’s Elves celebration at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor on Friday, December 11th, where all community members are welcome. Admission to the holiday celebration is one new, unwrapped children’s toy.

Ariel Madaro, Director of the organization, thanks the many businesses, organizations, supporters, and volunteers, whose help make these events possible. “We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helps us provide holiday gifts and Thanksgiving dinners for members of our community every year. We love celebrating the holidays alongside our neighbors and friends, and look forward to expanding these events for years to come.”
