Maverick Landing Community Services to Launch Grab & Go Market to Expand Fresh Food Access for Vulnerable East Boston Families
EAST BOSTON, MA — Maverick Landing Community Services (MLCS) will host the launch of its new Grab & Go Market, a timely fresh food access initiative created to help vulnerable families obtain affordable, nutritious produce close to home.
As rising food costs continue to place pressure on immigrant families, seniors, low-income households, and working parents, Grab & Go offers a practical, dignity-centered response in a trusted community setting. The program is open to anyone who is vulnerable and needs the service, regardless of where they are from.
The launch will include remarks from MLCS leadership and invited public officials, a launch ceremony, a family testimonial, refreshments, and an opportunity to tour the Grab & Go Market.
