Get in on the city’s Winter Fitness Series


East Boston Senior Center is one of the locations.

Every winter the Boston Public Health Commission and Parks Department offer FREE fitness throughout the city and virtually. This winter, , four in person and seven virtual classes every week including Zumba, Yoga, Kick Boxing, Cardio, Strength, Tai Chi and more! Classes are all-levels and and the in person classes take place in local community centers. One of the classes, Strength & Balance, takes place at the East Boston Senior Center on Tuesdays at 11 AM.

The Boston Parks Winter Fitness Series offers free fitness programming from January 7 – April 6 both virtually and at local community centers.. There are 4 in-person and 7 virtual classes led by certified fitness instructors and everyone is welcome regardless of fitness level. You can learn more and find the full schedule of all classes at
