Let’s Get Movin’ with the 261 Club New England

Three moms from the Let’s Get Movin’ program, part of East Boston Neighborhood Health Care Center, fearlessly completed the Boston 10K for Women on October 7, 2023! Some of them ran their first race alongside the 261 Fearless Club New England team and the legendary Kathrine Switzer, the first registered woman to run the Boston Marathon. A small EBNHC team was also present to support our runners and the over 4,000 participants.

261 Club New England is a non-competitive, non-judgmental run group for women 18+. All ages and abilities (run/walking) welcomed. The East Boston group meets on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm! Meet at the YMCA on Bremen Street.
