2nd Annual Anna’s Monster Dash 5K and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run will be held Sunday October 16, 2022 at Salesian Boys & Girls Club of East Boston. Anna Coviello Noviello Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charity that will award a deserving student(s) receiving a catholic education.
This foundation was established in 2021 by Anna’s twin sisters Antonietta O’Toole and Maria Provenzano and loving Husband Paul Noviello. Anna was a spiritual, sweet and generous soul who was highly dedicated to both her faith and academics. As a life-long resident of East Boston, she faithfully attended her neighborhood’s Catholic church, Saint Joseph – Saint Lazarus and Pope John XXIII Central High School in Everett Massachusetts (class of 1997).
Anna passed away July 2020 from Ovarian Cancer. She didn’t want to be remembered by cancer but by who she was and the good she did while on earth. Race day is a beautiful day honoring Anna’s memory. Come dressed up in your Halloween costume to run/walk. There is a 1 mile kids fun run and a 5k. Awards will be given for best costumes. Top 3 male and female, top 3 boys and girls finishers will receive medals. There will be refreshments, raffles and entertainment by DJ Master Millions.
This past spring we awarded $13,000 in scholarships to students from 10 different schools in Anna’s memory to help with their educational expenses. Help us to carry on Anna’s Memory and help others as she would have.
