East Boston Community Organization Announces Event Date and Details for 2024 Celebration
The Eastie Pride Day Committee will be hosting their 35th annual celebration of East Boston on August 17th at Piers Park
EAST BOSTON, MA (June 7, 2024)– This week, the Eastie Pride Day committee announced that the annual Eastie Pride Day celebration event will take place on Saturday, August 17th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This large-scale community event showcases East Boston small businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations within one location, allowing East Boston residents to learn more about the community. The celebration includes food, children’s games, contests, music, and live entertainment. This event is family-friendly and open to all ages. This year’s event will mark the 35th Annual Eastie Pride Day in East Boston. The event originated with Founder Sal LaMattina in 1989 to increase pride within residents in the community, and has since become a staple event in the neighborhood that children and adults alike look forward to each year.
