For its April exhibition, the Atlantic Works Gallery (AWG) invites the public to Two Painters / Dos pintores, showing work by two AWG artists, Diane Teubner and Renato Viganego.
Using the warp and weft of the grid, and the sequencing and rhythmic interplay of blocks of color and lines, Diane Teubner continues her exploration of the visual and felt sense of interval and measure, time and space, within and across paintings.
Renato Viganego studies the human figure of nature as a way of understanding the difficult and the complicated. In his meticulously crafted paintings, clear and concise, every line, plane, and volume come together to offer a beautifully balanced chromatic vision.
Two Painters / Dos pintores runs April 4 – April 26 at the Atlantic Works Gallery, 80 Border Street, East Boston, MA, open 2:00-6:00 pm, Fridays and Saturdays.
