Description
Celebrate Black History Month with Zahirah Nur Truth of ZNT Arts for a fun interactive hand-sewing project, “The Pieces of Me”.
We will learn about the history of sewing, quilting, and patch work through the African Diaspora and talk about how hand sewing was used to tell stories, pass on knowledge, and share feelings. Participants will be able to develop their own beautiful stories through art
