(EAST BOSTON- October 31, 2026) This has always been a community-wide effort. Elijah Garcia, a local upcoming boxing talent, just recently won a Pro-Amateur fight last weekend in Lewiston Maine called “Getting Gritty in the City” where fought a boxer from Canada and won in a convincing Unanimous Decision. Team Garcia is now preparing for Silver Gloves November 21st in Middleton, Massachusetts at Sonny’s Boxing and then the Big One in Lafayette, Louisiana December 5th-13th in the USA Boxing National Championships.
The Garcia team is selling T-Shirts to help fund the trip to the national championships. Details below.
Elijah is a great kid with the determination to work hard and thrive in the sport he loves. East Boston should support him along the way!
