Diapers wanted!

The Kiwanis Club of East Boston hosts a Diaper Drive on Tuesday, April 16 to benefit families served by the Crossroads Family Shelter.

The Kiwanis Club is collecting diapers, baby wipes, diaper rash creams and other items for infants to assist homeless families.  Diapers size 4 and above, baby wipes and other materials can be dropped off to Kiwanis members on April 16 starting at 6 p.m. at the Area A-7 East Boston Police Station at 300 East Eagle Street. The diapers should be in new, unopened packages. All toiletries should also be in unopened packages.

The club also needs volunteers to put the Diaper Drive packages together: sorting diapers and baby toiletries, putting them into delivery bags, and moving them to the shelter. This volunteer opportunity is just one way the Kiwanis Club of East Boston serves the community, especially the elderly and children. You can be part of that effort! Learn more about the club at the diaper drive, and fill out an application to join.

Light refreshments will be served to the volunteers.
