Thanks to Eddie Palladino, the Celtics announcer with local roots, the trophy made an appearance in East Boston today at the The Star of the Sea’s Mens Club. The Celtics won their 18th National Basketball Association championship this past June.
Former senator Robert Travaglini hosted the brief event as many took the opportunity to have a photograph taken with the trophy. Later in the day the trophy made its way to Rino’s Place.
