Executive Director – Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway, Inc. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, with a primary focus on advocacy, fundraising, financial sustainability, community relationships, volunteer growth, effective marketing and communication and visionary leadership. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to inspire and motivate others and a genuine passion for our mission. The position reports to the Board of Directors and oversees staff, currently consisting of one or more part-time contract Program coordinators and a Director of Finance and Administration.

This is a part-time position working remotely. We are committed to establishing diversity and community representation throughout the Friends and encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Qualifications; Experience
Four-year degree or experience in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration or related field preferred.
Proven track record of success in nonprofit fundraising, with experience in individual, corporate and foundation giving, grant writing, and donor stewardship. 3+ years of leadership and management experience.
