At Constitution Beach, Triangle Inc’s Beach:Ability making beaches accessible for all

(East Boston, MA, August 10, 2024) – Triangle, Inc., an organization that serves people with disabilities and their families, hosted its annual Beach:Ability event supported by Save the Harbor/Save the Bay’s Better Beaches Program in partnership with DCR. The event highlights the programs and resources that make Massachusetts’ urban beaches welcoming and accessible for everyone. Guests of all abilities enjoyed the weather and the beach with the use of floating wheelchairs and mobility mats.

In addition, the day was filled with music, food, and games, so everyone at the event can enjoy all the fun the beach has to offer.

Special thanks to Metropolitan Beaches Commissioners Rep Adrian Madaro and Sen Lydia Edwards for their advocacy and DCR Commissioner Brian Arrigo for their partnership.
