By coincidence, a hearing on bicycle safety brought the community together at City Hall later that day. Both events have many left asking what’s being done to make our city safe for cyclists, and rightfully so. This has been going on since the reopening of the refurbished Chelsea Bridge that cabs, trucks and buses from Logan are required to use. Dr. Chris Andry presented a letter of thanks from Boston Medical Center (BMC) President and CEO, Kate Walsh, to the Anthony family, who presented a $2,000 donation to BMC from their annual East Boston Deep Freeze Hockey Tournament.
